There are simply too many people to list, so here are some highlights:
- all the advertisers who enable our show schedules to be free (see Flower, Veg & Craft and Horse Show navigation tabs for schedule adverts);
- the local farmers for giving access to their land for parking and helping set up the show ground;
- all the show judges;
- public address commentators, including Tim Porter;
- installer of the PA sound system - Des Capel;
- The Gate Inn Pub and The George Hotel;
- Ian Haycock (Forge Garage) for helping set up the show ground;
- Brailes village shop owners;
- special thanks to Frank Barwick (butcher);
- the local community for their unstinting and continuous support;
- current and past Brailes Show Committee members;
- key sponsorship from Oxford Hardware, Cross Roads Garage and Lloyds Banking Group;
- Shennington Gliders Club and others for supporting the raffle;
- Batsford Timber for donating the stakes free of charge;
- the local media; and
- thank you to the Brailes village for their generous bottle donations for the tombola stall - you know who you are.
Profits from the show go towards supporting the next year's event and donations are made to local groups and charities (i.e. schools). A substantial donation also goes towards the upkeep of the village hall and playing fields, which are widely used by the community.
If you would like to support the Brailes Show through a donation, sponsorship or an advertising banner, please email info@brailesvillageshow.com or contact the Commitee (see Behind the scenes & contacts navigation tab).
