Saturday 8th August 2009 

The show is located in the North Cotswolds in South Warwickshire and has been an annual event since the 1940s. 

It has something for everyone and is a fun day out for all the family.  On a sunny day it can attract a few thousand visitors easily.

As a general guide, the day comprises:

• 9.30 a.m.      All day Horse Show starts (class registration from 8.30 a.m.)
• 1.30 p.m.      Dog Show starts (class registration from 12.30 p.m.)
• 1.30 p.m.      Family Fun begins starting with the Tug of War at 1.35 p.m.
• 1:30 p.m.      Flower, Veg & Craft marquee opens to the public
• 4.30 p.m.      Flower, Veg & Craft Show presentation of cups and trophies
• 5.30 p.m.      Show closes
• 8.00 p.m.      Big Party (live music), Bar & BBQ

            (note: all timings are approximate)

Profits from the show go towards supporting the next year's event and donations are made to local groups and charities (i.e. schools). A substantial donation also goes towards the upkeep of the village hall and playing fields which are widely used by the community.
