2016 really was the best ever!
At the AGM on 10 November the treasurers reported that the Show profit for 2016 was even higher than in 2015. Increased sponsorship and greater income from the Teas and Barbecue and Bottle Stall all contributed to the record year, providing an increased fund for distribution to local clubs, groups and societies. If you would like to request a donation from the Show to your organisation, please write to Jon Boyce, 1 Bakery Cottages, Lower Brailes, OX15 5HW or e-mail email@example.com by 31st December 2016.
A committee was formed to steer the 2017 Show. Chris Righton is President. Paul Tutt has agreed to continue as chairman for another year, with Chris Ivin as vice-chairman. Nicki Banks and Vanessa Boyce will share the secretary's rôle. BUT WE DO NEED A NEW TREASURER, and hope someone will come forward to take on this important job. If you are interested, please contact Vanessa Boyce on 685371.
If you would like to be involved in preparing for the next Show, please come to the first committee meeting:
Tuesday 17 January 2017, 7.45pm in the Pavilion.
